This is a unique scheme launched by us this year. Under this scheme every student is attached to a Professor right at the time of entry in to the college. He or she would be attached to the same Professor till the end of his or her duration of study. However, no Professor would be attached to students from his/her Department. Such a scheme is envisioned to ensure that the student can see a parent in his teacher and be confident to confide in him or her. This scheme is a proven scheme that ensures that a student is provided the requisite comfort during his or her stay in the college. Under this scheme a Professor identified to be Parent Teacher is expected to act as a Personal counselor who also has direct access to the management. This is not the same as Class Advisor scheme.The professor associated will have personal relation to a group of students, know their strengths and weakness and solve their difficulties in college campus. |
